Who Gives?

The Chinnan Family Community Endowment

Chinnan Family

The Chinnan Family Community Endowment was established by Manjeet and Lata Chinnan to provide scholarships for students interested in a global perspective through study abroad programs and to support international scholars (student and/or faculty) from India in enriching their educational or professional experience at Clayton State University. The endowment also allows for opportunities for faculty and staff to benefit from Rotary membership and programs such as Leadership Clayton.

Taylor Foundation Establishes Annual Scholarships

Since 1974, Marcia Taylor has been building her family-owned transportation and logistics company into a global corporation with annual revenue in excess of $260 million. Luckily, for Clayton State University students, while creating her vastly successful business she also instilled a philosophy that, “Giving back should be a part of any successful organization.”

The Lonnie & Lila Roberts Endowment for Excellence in Vocal Ensemble and Organ Performance

Established upon realization of their estate gift by the Clayton State University Foundation and providing the funds received satisfy the minimum requirements at the time they are received, this endowment will be created to maintain and advance the quality of vocal and/or organ performances at Clayton State University’s Spivey Hall. The endowment will support artists’ fees and other needs deemed essential to performance of the highest quality.
