Abandoned by their parents as teenagers, two African American brothers struggle with poverty, resentment, and a longing for purpose. Lincoln, once a master street hustler at three-card monte, now works in a carnival pretending to be Abraham Lincoln. Booth, desperate for his brother’s approval, dreams of surpassing him as a con artist. As sibling rivalry, ambition, and unresolved wounds collide, their bond begins to spiral out of control.
