Payment Information

Payments can be made in the Bursar's Office with cash, check, credit/debit card.

Make checks, money orders,  or cashier checks payable to 'Clayton State University' 

The student's full name and 9 digit Laker ID number must be included on the check.

Personal checks can be used to make an electronic payment online through TouchNet (free of charge).

All major credit cards are accepted, however, a 2.95 percent (non-refundable service fee ($3 minimum fee) will be assessed by TouchNet, our credit card processor, for credit/debit card payments.

Credit/debit card payments must be made online through TouchNet via the DUCK

The Nelnet Payment Plan is available to students who need an option for paying course and tuition fees/credit unit fees not covered by Financial Aid and/or other sources.

• Log onto the SWAN
• Click DUCK single-sign-on ICON from within SWAN to enter DUCK
• In the DUCK , Scroll down to the Student Account section
• Click "Setup Payment Plan" (you will  be redirected to NelNet)

Payments are processed on the 20thh of each month.

*Students can only have ONE(1) ACTIVE NELNET PLAN AT ONE TIME.

Touchnet e-Bill is Clayton State University’s online billing system for student tuition and fees. e-Bill allows students and authorized users, designated by the student, to review their student account detail and make payments online. 

• View current and previous account details
• See entire schedule for the semester
• Automatically be notified when new balances are due
• Make online payments with a credit card or e-Check
• Allow authorized users the ability to make online payments
• Download and export schedule and invoice details

• Follow the link in the email notification to access the DUCK
• Scroll down to Student Account section.
• Click on Pay Now
• You will be rerouted to the Student Account Center. Your most recent statement will be displayed on the homepage.
• You can also click on My Account and select Statements to view and print your most recent statements.

You will receive email and text message notifications each time a new statement is ready for your review.

• Log on to the DUCK
• Scroll down to the Student Account section.
• Click Pay Now, you will be routed to the Student Account Center via TouchNet.
• Click My Profile on the menu bar, then choose Personal Profile from the drop-down list.

• Log on to the DUCK
• Scroll down to the Student Account section.
• Click Pay Now, you will be routed to the Student Account Center via TouchNet.
• Under Student Account, select Make Payment

Authorized payers/users may include parents, spouses, relatives, guardians, and employers. The enrolled student must set up access for the authorized payer to view the student's billing information and make payments.

• Log on to DUCK
• Scroll down to the Student Account section.
• Click Pay Now you will be routed to the Student Account Center via TouchNet.
• Under My Profile Setup, select Authorized Users.
• Add Authorized User.

• Follow the link in the email notification to access the Student Account Center
• Log in using your email and password.
• Your student’s most recent statements will be displayed on the homepage.
• You can also click on My Account and select Statements to view and print the most recent statements.

• Go to Student Account Center
• Log in using your email and password.
• Under Student Account, select Make Payment
