Video Monitoring System

NES provides the video surveillance infrastructure for the CSU campus.  Public Safety utilizes this system for live view as well as recorded video surveillance for crime deterrence and asset protection. 

Surveillance cameras are located throughout the campus under the following guidelines

• The vast majority of cameras on campus are not monitored in real time.  
• Cameras will not be installed or monitored in locations where an individual has a reasonable  expectation of privacy.
• Cameras may be installed in locations where employees are engaged in a work environment.
• Cameras will not be accessible to managers for viewing the performance of their employees.
